Stacy Fey, founder of Stage KC, spent years dreaming of a career related to interior design. After working 15 years in the finance industry, Stacy made the leap to home staging. She worked the following 3 years with a premier home staging company. In the beginning of 2024 she was ready to bring her expertise to the rest of the Kansas City area and Stage KC was founded. Stacy loves to transform spaces of all kinds, be it staging a vacant home or helping people find their own personal style in the home they already love. Stacy married her husband, Josh in 2009 and they have two children, Bennett and Liam. Aside from home staging, Stacy enjoys pilates, traveling, thrifting, and brewery dates with her husband.

Home staging is the art of expertly styling homes for sale. Great staging makes an immediate emotional connection with a buyer that encourages them to place quick and highly competitive bids. Stage KC will come to your home and style it so that the provided furniture and decor highlight its best features. My goal is to objectively showcase the home so that buyers make this instant connection and that your home may sell 50-80% more quickly and for top dollar. Each home is staged with the buyer, price point, and the home's best features in mind, so that each stage is completely personalized to the home!

Looking to list a home and need guidance on the essentials of staging? Getting an expert opinion and assistance in prioritizing tasks is key. I will provide you with impartial advice on furniture layout, accessorizing, decluttering, cosmetic changes or updates, and more. With this, you'll have just what you need to sell your home quickly. One hour consultation is a flat rate of $150.
Need a little more hands-on help than a consultation? Stage KC will do all the work and stage your home using your furniture and accessories. This service varies from home to home but is a perfect way to maximize your home's potential with minimal investment. One hour minimum at $150, additional hourly rate of $100.
customized sourcing & styling
Love your home but want to freshen up the furniture or decor? Or do you own an Airbnb that you want to make Instagram-able? This is a full service option. We will chat about your style, likes/dislikes, and what room(s) you want to address. Stage KC will source the items for you and once purchased, will come to your home and put it all together. Simply tell us your preferences, approve the selections, and we handle everything else. Free initial one hour consultation, hourly rate of $100.

Creating a home that is cohesive and well-coordinated while still expressing your style can be challenging. If you have all the decor and furniture you love but need help pulling it all together, I will come and create an inviting space that is not just a collection of things, but a thoughtfully styled home that perfectly represents your taste. One hour minimum at $150, additional hourly rate of $100.
